Ecliptek Releases High Frequency Fundamental Mode Inverted-Mesa Crystals

Fundamental Mode up to 212.500MHz Available

Wednesday, August 28, 2002
Costa Mesa, CA - Ecliptek Corporation announces the addition of the EC7 series crystal to their full line of frequency control products. Available in a UM-1 package, the EC7 features tolerance/stabilities to ±10ppm/±30ppm, commercial (0°C to +70°C) and industrial (-40°C to +85°C) temperature ranges, and a frequency range of 35.000MHz to 212.500MHz. Ecliptek achieves these frequencies by utilizing a proprietary high frequency fundamental (HFF) mode inverted mesa crystal design. This product series offers low crystal resistance, high pullability, and excellent aging.
The EC7 series is ideal for designers who want to design their own high frequency fundamental (HFF) mode oscillator or VCXO's. Target applications include Gigabit Ethernet, Fiber Channel, and Optical Networking, where precision high speed, low-jitter, and low phase noise clocks are required.
