Available in a four pad ceramic SMD package measuring only 3.2mm x 2.5mm x 0.9mm, the EB16E2 series is ideal for designers needing a small form factor oscillator operating at a low supply voltage. Available in a single ended HCMOS output, the EB16E2 offers frequency stability to ±50ppm and an operating temperature range up to -40°C to +85°C. Due to its use of an internal fundamental mode crystal (no PLL), this series offers superior jitter and phase noise performance and is suitable for such applications as hand-held devices, medical equipment, scanners, LCD displays, PDA's and wireless communications equipment.
