Ecliptek Announces Pb-Free Roadmap

Ecliptek announces the addition of our Pb-free roadmap to the corporate website. Features of the roadmap include a three phase implementation plan that covers various Pb-free high temperature soldering methods including infrared/convection solder reflow, wave solder reflow, and manual solder reflow. Additionally, a product phase matrix is also available detailing the status of all Ecliptek products including those that are currently Pb free. A detailed FAQ section concerning the Pb-free issue is also available. The Ecliptek Pb-free program is implemented in accordance with European Union (EU) Legislation titled "Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS)" including banning the use of Pb in electronic assemblies after July 1, 2006.
