Ecliptek Expands PECL Product Line

9 x 14mm Clock and VCXO Available with Extensive Options

Costa Mesa, CA - Ecliptek Corporation announces the addition of a 9 x 14 x 5mm ceramic package to their full line of PECL and LVPECL output clock oscillators and voltage-controlled crystal oscillator's (VCXO).

Available in four and six pad surface mount configurations, this family of products is loaded with features including an enable disable option, a complementary output option, linearity options to 10% (VCXO's only) and a ±50ppm absolute pull range (VCXO's only).

The oscillator series is available in 5V_DC PECL (E11C1 and E11C2 series) or in 3.3V_DC LVPECL (E13C1 and E13C2 series). Both the 5V and 3.3V oscillators are available with stabilities to ±20ppm in the commercial (0°C to +70°C) operating temperature range and to stabilities of ±50ppm in the industrial (-40°C to +85°C) temperature range. This family of products also offers extremely low RMS phase jitter of 1pSec maximum and a frequency range of 19.440MHz to 212.500MHz.

The VCXO series is also available in 5V_DC PECL (E31C2 series) or 3.3V_DC LVPECL (E32C2 series). Both the 5V and 3V VCXO's are available with stabilities of ±20ppm, ±25ppm or ±50ppm over commercial temperature range (0°C to +70°C) or at ±50ppm over industrial temperature ranges (-40° to +85°C). This family of products also offers extremely low RMS phase jitter of 1pSec maximum and a frequency range of 19.440MHz to 83.333MHz.

This family of oscillators and VCXO's are ideal for Gigabit Ethernet, Fiber Channel, and Optical Networking applications. Standard frequencies include 19.440, 77.760, 106.250, 125, 133, 155.520, 156.250, 200, and 212.500MHz. Ecliptek achieves these frequencies by utilizing a proprietary high frequency fundamental (HFF) mode crystal design.
